Ricardo Raposo is the CEO and President of Commercial Drywall & Construction Co., Inc. With many years of experience in the construction industry, Rick prides himself on running an honest and reliable company that is dedicated to its customers and employees. Over the years, his experience, veracity, and dedication have all enabled him to transform a small business into one of the most competitive construction companies in the industry.
With the company since 2006, Eric serves as the company’s Senior Estimator. In charge of overseeing the Estimating Department, Eric ensures that the bidding process of each project runs smoothly from start to finish. Eric graduated from New Bedford Voc-Tech in 2002 as an Electrician’s Apprentice. He continued in the electrical field from 2002-2006. In 2006, Eric was presented with the opportunity to come on board and join the CDC team as an Estimating Apprentice.
In 2007, Eric began working on his own as an Estimator and he continued this role until 2015. In 2015, Eric became the company’s Senior Estimator. He is now in charge of managing our Estimating Team, reviewing all incoming bid invitations, choosing which projects our team will provide estimates for, delegating said projects to the chosen Estimator and reviewing all outgoing bids, in which he provides an in-depth review of plans and scope of work, as well as putting labor to the project prior to being sent out to our General Contractors. Eric also oversees project buyouts/budgets, orders all materials for awarded projects and oversees all day to day field and office operations.
With over 33 years of experience in the construction industry, Joe has been serving the company as its Project Manager since 2017. As a prior successful construction business owner for 28 years, Joe uses his experience and expertise to manage the progress, timeliness, and labor of each project. With a strong desire to provide optimal customer service, Joe ensures that each project is completed on time, within budget and with optimal results.
Meagan entered the company as its Project Coordinator. After spending some time perfecting her role as Project Coordinator, she moved on to training as the company’s Office Manager. In charge of the company’s financial affairs, Meagan focuses on providing a pleasant experience through communications between herself and the customers that the company has the pleasure of working with.
Serving our Human Resource Department since 2014, Christine came on board with over 20 years of experience in Customer Service. With a strong dedication to serving our employees, Christine oversees a number of aspects of employment, such as employee relations, administration of employee benefits, some aspects of recruitment and dismissal, and employee benefits and training.
Andrew Pontes graduated from UMASS Dartmouth with a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Andrew began working at Commercial Drywall & Construction Co., Inc. in 2015 as the Accounting Assistant. Since then he has been promoted to the company’s Controller. Andrew works closely with the employee’s working out in the field on a daily basis in order to keep track of attendance.
Andrew is in charge of all payroll for the company, as well as issuing checks for subcontractors. Andrew is also responsible for the company’s Accounts Payable and running weekly Job Cost. In addition, he takes part in assisting with month end and annual closing transactions. Andrew works very closely with the company’s field employees and subcontractors in order to maintain the great reputation that he has established.
